Who we are

The Newman Elementary School Parent Teacher Council (Newman PTC) serves to enrich the education of all of our children and foster a sense of community.

What we do for your family & our community

• Enrich the curriculum by bringing in a diverse array of specialists to our school, such as scientists, musicians and authors, and plan exciting field trips
• Fund teacher grants and extra supplies for every classroom
• Invest in our school, classrooms, playground and technology
• Orchestrate all kinds of community and family fun
• Springfest, Family Skate Night, Glow Dance, Outdoor Movie Night, adult socials and so much more
• Encourage health and environmental awareness with Mayrathon and our Safe Routes to School program
• Communicate happenings to the 600+ families in the Newman community through the PTC Directory, yearbook, weekly electronic newsletters, our Facebook and Instagram pages and our website
• Appreciate our teachers and staff with luncheons, gift cards and more
