SUMMARY:Back to School Outdoor Movie Night
DESCRIPTION:Who is ready for some good old-fashioned fun? \nThe Newman PTC is hosting an outdoor movie night for the entire Newman community on Monday\, August 26. Playing on the big screen will be “IF” (PG\, 2024.) \nFree bags of popcorn (assorted flavors) will be handed out\, courtesy of the PTC. \nWe’ll be partnering with Sweet Tomatoes Pizza. They will be on site at Newman to grill up some pizzas for us! 10% of all sales that evening will be donated back to the Newman PTC. Below is what the menu will be: \n\nSlice of cheese: $3\nSlice of pepperoni: $4\nMini cheese pizza (10″): $12\nMini pepperoni pizza (10″): $13\nMini veggie pizza (10″): $14\nMini GF cheese pizza (10″): $14\nWater & soda: $2\nLemonade: $3\nMovie candy: $3\nWhoopie pies: $3\nCookies: $3\nGF Rice Krispie treats: $3\nCash or Venmo will be accepted by Sweet Tomatoes.\n\nThere will be a red carpet and a step and repeat (large photo backdrop) to be used for event photography. (Any paparazzi out there want to help with photos? Please email Allison at: newmanptcpresident@gmail.com) \nThe big event will take place in the field behind the school. We cannot start the movie until it is dark enough — likely around 7:15/7:30 p.m. \nFeel free to come as early as 6:00 to order your dinner\, grab a spot on the grass\, lay out your blankets\, and eat! Please RSVP here. \nWe are hoping this will be a nice way to bring people together just ahead of the 2024-25 school year! \nPlease note: Parks & Rec has asked that no bug spray or sunscreen be sprayed on the grass. Please apply on the pavement before heading down to the field.
