Tickets for rides\, inflatables\, games and carnival food will be available for purchase at the event. \nThe food truck will not take tickets. SUMMARY:5th Grade Class Day (End-of-Year Celebration)
DESCRIPTION:The date set for 5th Grade Celebration (aka Class Day) is June 11.  It isn’t attached to a Community Meeting Day\, but a morning of activities\, a lunch and the afternoon celebration for parents. \nWe have set 1:45pm as the celebration time for parents to attend.  There will be some words from the principal\, two songs from the 5th graders\, and we are planning other pieces to be shared by students. There will also be a slideshow. There won’t be any diplomas for 5th grade 🙂 \nNOTE: 5th graders should wear their class shirts.

DESCRIPTION:All Newman students in grades K-5 should stop by the welcome table (at the event) to grab their FREE ticket for the ice cream truck! No tickets necessary for the balloons and face paint. (Any additional ice cream will be available for purchase.) \nStudents who are part of NEDP on June 13 will be taken out to enjoy the festivities at 2:30 p.m. \nPlease note: The last day of school is a half day for students with a dismissal time of 12:40 p.m. To avoid interference with teacher and staff goodbyes\, and the bus and drivelines\, we specifically chose this later time. Students can go home\, have some lunch\, and then come back to celebrate the start of summer!
