The Family Dinner Project - 11/7
The Family Dinner Project: November 7, 6:00-7:45 pm, Open to all families!
We all know how important it is to have dinner as a family, but with busy schedules and tired kids and parents, it isn’t always easy! Come enjoy a community-style family dinner and learn how to make family dinners frequent and fun in your home! Registration is required & space is limited.
The benefits of family meals include: better academic performance, higher self-esteem, greater sense of resilience. In addition, children who eat dinner with their families have lower risk of substance use/misuse, depression, disordered eating and rates of obesity. The event is organized by Substance Prevention Alliance of Needham (SPAN) and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham.
